If you have a question that needs to be answered, then this is the thread to find it. Below are many help posts and questions that will help you find your way around the forum and how to do what.
Image colors will vary per skin. They are the same image, just another color to fit with that skin.
Basic Rules:
1. Use Sentences (Capitalizations & Periods) 2. No Inappropriate Behavior/Junk Posts. 3. Respect other members. 4. No racist comments 5. Have fun!
Things NOT to do: Please do not... • ...use AIM speech here. I'm sure most of you know what this means. This is a forum, not instant messaging, you have all the time in the world to type. Put a little effort into it, makes reading your post easier. Like I said already in this guide, I'm not looking for professional English here, just basic sentences with capitals on the first letter of the sentence and a period, the easy stuff. • ...make two straight posts. If you forgot to add something to your post, you can go to MODIFY to edit your post. • ...make threads on small or pointless topics. There are some topics just not worth making an entire thread for. Remember this place is for discussion, so leave the small chat out. However, there are threads to bring up these small topics, such as the "Chit Chat" threads at the General Board and the Other Chat board. • ...reply to old threads. Don't reply to threads that are old, this usually means anything beyond 3 pages of the board. Threads on the first two pages are more than enough for discussion, you can just start a new thread if it's necessary. • ...post anything that is illegal or offers to sell your stuff. Obviously, anything illegal is not allowed here, for good reason, it's illegal. And don't post about selling your stuff here, this is not a place to sell stuff, there's other options, like Ebay that functions for that purpose. • ...make pointless comments. If you're only going to say a few words in your post, it's probably not worth posting, and considered "junk posts" or "spam." If someone asks a question, and you say "I don't know," that's not helpful, and not needed.

Q: What is an avatar?
A: An avatar is the picture underneath a users name. It doesn't really play a big role in the forum, but it does look nice.
Q: How do I add an avatar?
A: Adding an avatar is simple. Just click on the Profile button in the menubar. There, to the right of your username, you will see a few things. Member's Bio - Modify Profile - Bookmarks. Click on Modify Profile. There you will see more categories. Look for Personal Information. You can choose one of the default avatars from the list there, or type in a URL (link) to a picture you want as an avatar. All avatars can be a maximum of 100x100 pixels, anything bigger than that will automatically be resized.

Q: What is a signature?
A: Same as an avatar, only it's underneath everything you post. It also has no special role, but it is often used to make posts look prettier, or to advertise something, or to re-direct you to somewhere. But they also hold important information most of the time.
Q: How do I add in a signature?
A: Click on the Profile button in the menubar, then to the right of your username, click on Modify Profile. Scroll down a bit until you see Personal Information. Under where you can select an avatar, you will se a small white space. There you can add an image, text, a link, etc. You have a maximum of 400 characters though, so be careful of how much you type. A space also counts as a character. Maximum size for a signature is 600x200 pixels. I don't mind if it's a little bigger than that, but please do not go past 650x300. Anything bigger will stretch the forum page, making it look ugly. Also, if you have a larger image, please do not center it, for that might also stretch the page.

How to start posting:
After you have chosen a board to go to, you will see a list of “threads”. Threads are topics, which you talk about. To start your own thread, click on “New Thread”. Or, you can just browse through the already existing threads, to find what you want to talk about. Click on a thread, and you will find a “Reply” button you can click on. If you want to a copy of what someone said in your post (so that people will know which post you are referring to when you’re talking if necessary), then you can do so by going to the post you want to quote, and then click on the “Quote” button. After you done that, you will see a lot of stuff in your text box already, that’s ok, just type what you want to say in the bottom of all that stuff. Also, in your own posts, you can "Modify" (change your message), and "X (Delete)" (deletes your message).

Private Messages:
This is an important feature, especially if someone is trying to contact you directly. Look at the bottom right corner of the forums (on the main page), you will see a message saying “Your Instant Messages: (#) New: (#)” If you click on “(a number) messages”, you will see all the messages that have been sent to you. If you have messages, you can click on them, and view the contents, and also be able to reply back. You can private message anyone here at the forums. You can find a private message link on every single member’s profile. All member names in their posts are clickable, which leads you to their profile.
You can also access your messages by clicking on the link above the main logo that says: You currently have (X) new messages.

User Names and Display Names:
Your User Name is the name you registered with. By default, your User Name is also your Display Name, meaning, people will see that name, on your posts, the 'Who’s Online' list, etc. You can change your Display Name in your profile. Keep in mind that you always log in with your User Name, not Display Name.

Time Offset:
This is one of the options in your profile. The forum's time might be different than your time, so to correct it, you need to either add or substract hours. For example, if you need to add three more hours, you need to put: +3. If you need to substract three hours, you need to put: -3. You can only change the hour, it might be a few minutes off according to your time, but there's no way to change the minutes. Besides, it's only a few minutes.

Image Hosting:
Need somewhere to upload your images? You have to upload your images somewhere on the internet in order for it to work. I would recommend www.tinypic.com, www.imageshack.us or www.photobucket.com . Both services are free.

Inserting Images:
When typing a message, above the text box you can see different buttons you can click on, click on this button: . You will get a code just like the one below. Code: {img}URL{/img} (Replace {} with [])
Just replace the "URL" with the URL of the picture. This code also works for images in signatures. Of course, you don't need to click on the button to insert this code, this code can be memorized and you can type it in yourself or copy and paste it. The button is just there for ease of use.

URLs to Text:
If you want to insert a URL, you can just type in the address with the "www." and it will automatically be a clickable link. However, if you don't want the address text to be the URL, instead, you want the any text to be hyperlink, use the code below (this works for posts and signatures): Code: {url=PLACE URL HERE}THE TEXT HERE{/url} (Replace {} with [])
Replace the "PLACE URL HERE" with the URL, and the "THE TEXT HERE" with whatever text you want it to have. This code can be used in posts and signatures.

Profile Stars:
The more you post, the higher position you are. If you noticed, when you post, you have a certain rank beneath your name.
New Member: 0-50 Posts Semi Member: 50-100 Posts Official Member: 100-250 Posts Elite Member: 250-500 Posts Veteran: 500-1000 Posts Elite Veteran: 1000-2500 Posts Semi Addicted: 2500-5000 Posts Officially Addicted: 5000+ Posts
All ranks are different, and have to do with your amount of posts.
*The stars system doesn't do anything, only an indication of how many posts a certain member has posted.
Staff Icons:
About Administrators, Global Moderators, Moderators and Gamemasters: All Administrators, Global Moderators, Moderators and Gamemasters have their name specially colored so as to see who has what rank easier.
Administrators Global Moderators Moderators Gamemasters
About Global Moderators/Moderators: Please don't request to the admin to be a Global or regular Moderator if you want to be one. Everyone will be under consideration when there is need to make Moderators.
About Gamemasters: Gamemasters are the leaders of the RPG and this position is given only to a select few. Do not ask to be a Gamemaster, unless you want to get hurt.
